Pierre is a Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Alpha Blue Ocean, an international alternative investment firm having representations in London, Geneva and Victoria. He leads the investment strategy and represents the company on all fronts.
He created an innovative financing philosophy which aims at switching from direct market risk toward model risk while guaranteeing the adequate financing of a given company.
Since the beginning of his career, he has actively implemented billions of dollars in direct and optional commitments for international businesses and projects whether public or private.
Before the creation of the Blue Ocean, Pierre was the Founder and CEO of the Bracknor Investment Group, a family office based in Dubai.
Under his leadership over $400 million have been deployed through international and cross-border transactions over 2 years.
Previously, he worked as an Investment Professional in a small alternative investment boutique based in London. Pierre was involved in all transactional aspects from origination and structuring to the monitoring of transactions once executed.
Prior to this, Pierre worked as a Financial Advisor for Mergers and Acquisitions within ENGIE (ex-GDF SUEZ) in Paris during which time he structured and closed over 12 wind project finance deals, and participated in legal tenders for energy production assets and impairment tests effectively processing over EUR 1’000 Million of transactions whether on both buy and sell side.
Pierre has two degrees from NEOMA Business School in France. Before graduating as Valedictorian in 2013 of a postgraduate Specialized Master in International Finance with a major in Advanced Econometrics, he graduated with a BSc. in International Business Administration.
He is fluent in French, English, and German.
Hugo Pingray is a Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Alpha Blue Ocean. He covers all aspect of the business, managing the firm’s operational risk and its financial planning, while originating and closing PIPE’s transactions - with an emphasis on emerging markets.
To date, he has assisted in deploying over $200 million across the world, often at times successfully implementing complex financially engineered solutions for issuers in jurisdictions that had never been seen before.
Born and raised in Martinique, Hugo has always been a creative and strategic thinker. In addition to his work, he is a sports enthusiast and one of the most successful poker players of his generation.
Hugo captured a World Champion title in 2014 and his game theory approach to the game allowed him to earn millions online in tracked earnings.
Before co-founding ABO, Hugo co-founded the Bracknor Investment Group, a Dubai based family office.
He studied at IESEG School of Management, holds a Bachelor of Science from Vatel Business School as well as a certificate in Corporate Finance from HEC Paris.
Hugo is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
Amaury Mamou-Mani is a Founding Partner and Executive Director at Alpha Blue Ocean. Following deals along the process, he manages the middle, the back office and the trade desk always with the focus on the digital transformation of market.
Entrepreneur at heart and passionate about new technology, Amaury has naturally turned towards the digital transformation sector.
After contributing to the development of the customer portfolios of several start-ups, he decided to create Mavany Inc., a gasoline delivery application, where he operated as CEO and CFO.
Eager to solve problems, his core leitmotiv is ‘where there is a will, there is a way’.
Amaury started his education with a MSc in Corporate Finance and Banking from EDHEC Business School, that he completed with a specialised master’s in business development from NEOMA Business School.
He refined his education with a certificate in Corporate Finance from Columbia BS. Amaury is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
Olivia Blanchard has worked in a multitude of environments including private banking, investment banking, asset management, and institutional broking.
She has held several FCA controlled functions and has international experience in a variety of roles, from Compliance Officer to Head of Compliance and Internal Control.
She has gained knowledge in various asset classes including equities (cash and derivatives) fixed income, commodities, foreign exchange and financial market regulations of several countries, including France (AMF, ACPR), the United Kingdom (FCA) and the United States (NFA, FINRA).
Since February 2017, she has been operating ‘LiveConsulting’ which is an international consultancy firm. LiveConsulting offers intelligent regulatory technology and independent consultant expertise to help financial firms to set up a strong regulatory framework.
She also works as an advisor for several UK regulated investment firms.
Olivia studied law in Paris V – René Descartes and holds a Master degree in company Law from La Catho Lille and EDHEC business school.
She is fluent in French and English
Serving Chief of Staff, Anais Batistini has vigorously strived to attain organisation wide excellence. Adopting a key role as a member of the crucial Leadership Team where she acts as a direct confidante and advisor to both the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Management team at Alpha blue Ocean.
Within the capacity of this position, she ensures that business and financial objectives are met and that top of the shelf worker performance, and hence, company performance is championed. Following Anais’ inauguration into Alpha Blue Ocean, she has contributed immensely to the growth and expansion of the corporation not just within the constraints of the United Kingdom but instead expanding their business worldwide.
Anais has ample experience in the market and is wellversed in the international arena, having previously worked as Regional Manager for Nathiva Capital Holding: a Dubai based investment fund whose operations centred around West Africa’s infrastructural development and financing. Anais was responsible for handling fund portfolios and monitoring tenders as well as remaining in direct contact with the chairman and negotiating with government officials.
In the past, Anais has also ventured into the political foray, having been a member of the department of political affairs at the United Nations office in New York City.
Anais’ ventures do not end there, her artistic passions, combined with her eye for fashion has led her to establish QMIN magazines. Focusing on beauty, lifestyle, technology, and fashion, the magazines see distribution in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and the United Kingdom.
As far as academic pursuits go, Anais has attained a BA in Politics from the prestigious Facultees Universitaires Saint Louis in Belgium.
She then went on to pursue an MSc from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) University in London where she completed her degree with a concentration in Conflict Management and Development.
Anais is also multilingual, holding fluent command over the languages of Arabic, English and Dutch as well as French, her native tongue.
A highly capable individual, Anais excels in communication, navigating her way through high-pressure situations and managing worker productivity.
Frederic Sutterlin joined Alpha Blue Ocean in autumn 2019 as a venture partner to support the fund’s development strategy in continental Europe and specifically in France.
Frederic is recognised for his expertise in alternative financial solutions, with a focus on listed SME’s. For the past ten years, Frederic gained experience at Societe Generale, where he adapted to the demanding, challenging, and fast-paced environment.
For twenty years, Frederic developed his knowledge by tackling his clients’ challenges within investment banking.
He began his career in Mergers & Acquisitions where he efficiently managed the requirements of corporate finance agreements. He secured more than fifteen deals, particularly for investment funds. Frederic then entered the corporate broking field where he mastered market equity and joined the corporate equity derivatives department. He currently manages the alternative financing sector, mainly equity and has closed more than thirty deals with his innovative ideas.
Frederic brings his own expertise to the Alpha Blue Ocean team by extending the financing solutions offered with his Saxe Advisory structure. Frederic is ambitious, has an extensive knowledge of the market and manages client’s concerns effectively.
Frederic has a master in corporate finance (Paris II Pantheon-Assas).
He is fluent in French and English.
